Just Imagine Art Experiences focuses on open-ended process art exploration utilizing a variety of tools, materials and techniques to foster imagination, decision-making and creativity. Recycled materials are heavily used. Daily themes are prepped according to seasons or to foster the curiosity and passion of the children.  

Debra Dunbar

Miss Debra has a BS in graphic Art from UC Davis, is a member of the National Honor Society of Early Childhood Educators and has been working with children of all ages for over 26 years, most recently teaching preschool as well as elementary age art classes. She is the mother to Sophia and Nikhil and has lived in Darien, CT since 2000. She prides herself on providing sensory-motor development art experiences which help build a strong foundation for later symbolic learning. Process Art projects at Just Imagine are based upon the Reggio Emilia and Project Approach early childhood education philosophies of Jean Piaget and Maria Montessori. They build self esteem, strengthen brain synapses, encourage cognitive thinking and are entirely up to the child.
